📘 Project Overview

The client—a fast-growing DTC eCommerce brand—was missing key browser events in Meta Ads, affecting optimization and remarketing.

We implemented a full-funnel Facebook Pixel setup via Google Tag Manager, tracking page_view, view_content, add_to_cart, initiate_checkout, and purchase. This improved attribution, unlocked retargeting, and boosted Meta campaign performance.

 🚦The Challenges : 

The client was facing conversion tracking issues prior to this setup –

⚠️  Pixel installed, but events missing or misfiring

⚠️  No AddToCart or Purchase tracking

⚠️ Campaigns not optimizing due to poor data

⚠️  No custom audiences for retargeting

⚠️  Unreliable ROAS in Meta reporting

⚠️  No dynamic values for product/category-specific reporting

🧩 Our Solution

We deployed a structured Facebook Pixel integration via GTM Web Container. Using custom dataLayer variables and JavaScript, we captured all major eCommerce events and passed enriched parameters for deeper analytics.

After giving a preview from the GTM Browser Server-side, we see that all tags have fired successfully.
